▼New Brighton Tower resigned from the Football League in September 1901 after the election meeting had been held and were replaced by Doncaster Rovers who had been the highest placed club in the election vote not to gain a League place at the meeting, New Brighton Tower then folded due to the high costs of maintaining a professional club in the Football League. |
