| To bring the Second Division up to its full compliment of 16 clubs one new club was due to be elected to the Division at the end of 1893/94. Northwich Victoria resigned prior to the AGM leaving a second vacancy. Seven non-league sides came up against the two League sides seeking re-election in the vote for the four places in the League. | ||
