Election for League Membership
After the meeting in which the above vote was taken Stoke resigned from the League. a second meeting was arranged to select a club to replace them and although Stoke changed their mind about leaving the League the meeting was held with the Potteries club being included in the vote.

Election for League Membership - 2nd Ballot
In the second ballot Lincoln and Tottenham again tied 20-20 with the final vote, made by the Management Committee, being 5-3 in favour of Tottenham. Therefore Tottenham were elected to the League and Lincoln again failed to regain their place.
